My apologies ahead of time if this was answered in another thread, I couldn't seem to find a direct answer.
As the the title says, I want to know if someone can draw ammunition (arrows) from a Bag of holding or Handy Haversack as a part of their ranged attack.
CRB
"Drawing ammunition for use with a ranged weapon (such as arrows, bolts, sling bullets, or shuriken) is a free action.”
Bag of Holding
“Retrieving a specific item from a bag of holding is a move action, unless the bag contains more than an ordinary backpack would hold, in which case retrieving a specific item is a full-round action.”
Handy Haversack
“Retrieving any specific item from a haversack is a move action, but it does not provoke the attacks of opportunity that retrieving a stored item usually does.”
I am aware of the Efficient Quiver do not want to use it. My reasoning is that I want my Zen Archer to be able to walk around with a BoH or a HH and appear to be unarmed but be able to draw my bow as a move action and be ready to fight.
Thoughts?

Since the BoH and HH have specific rules of their use, you would have to use their rules. You could have a bow in either of these and appear unarmed, except that you would have a quiver on your hip full of arrows (which is where the free action would draw them from).

I appreciate the quick response. I thought that might be the case but was unsure. I have one additional question then.
Would I be able to have a quiver full of arrows in a HH or BoH to be drawn out? So my round one would be...
Move action- Draw Bow
Move action- Draw quiver of arrows
...then be good to go round two for Flurry?

Your second situation would be fine, as that is using 2 move actions to draw 2 items from the HH or BoH.
And I do agree PokeyCA has the right of the first part, as it is specific overriding general rules.
I wouldn't need to "equip" the quiver, correct?
My character is in PFS and I would like to avoid any unnecessary arguments. If there will be table variance then I may abandon the idea due to the cost.

You "might" get a GM that required another move action to sling the quiver, but honestly I don't see that as all that likely as it's not specifically listed as an action on the combat chart. You're giving up a full round of combat to start..that's a significant investment of time as is.

Yeah, I doubt you'd find many GMs who would ask for more than a move action for the bow and one for the quiver. It's the standard "action to get something ready to go." Plus, as mentioned, one round to get ready for combat is a pretty significant hit you're voluntarily taking.
Just to help, always best to check with the GM before the scenario. Helps the GM work with you. (I keep a checklist of a few things to run by the GM before the game for each character, just so they know what to expect.)
