Ooze whisperer: What works with it?

You have a special bond with slimes and oozes.

Prerequisites: Wild empathy class feature.

Benefit: You may target oozes with spells and special abilities that normally only affect animals as if the oozes were magical beasts with Intelligence 1, though they gain a +4 bonus to their saving throws. You may use wild empathy to influence oozes as easily as you influence magical beasts with Intelligence 1.

1) The hyper literal reading of this is a contradiction: if something affects only animals then it by definition won't affect magical beasts.

2) The ability works on anything that affects both animals an magical beasts. Which is a pretty limited list. All i can find is

Wild empathy (specifically called out as working)

Handle animal oddly enough (Special: You can use this skill on a creature with an Intelligence score of 1 or 2 that is not an animal, but the DC of any such check increases by 5. Such creatures have the same limit on tricks known as animals do.)

The Carry companion spell (remember those snot wads you could buy in the super market vending machines? you have one!)

and last and most hillariously: Pup shape You turn the ooze smaller, and absolutely adorable.

3) The ooze is affected as if it were an animal (so charm animal, dominate animal etc) Most important for speak with animal. I like making the dm impersonate an ooze.

Wild Empathy (Ex): A druid can improve the attitude of an animal. This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check made to improve the attitude of a person (see Using Skills). The druid rolls 1d20 and adds her druid level and her Charisma modifier to determine the wild empathy check result. The typical domestic animal has a starting attitude of indifferent, while wild animals are usually unfriendly.

To use wild empathy, the druid and the animal must be within 30 feet of one another under normal conditions. Generally, influencing an animal in this way takes 1 minute but, as with influencing people, it might take more or less time.

A druid can also use this ability to influence a magical beast with an Intelligence score of 1 or 2, but she takes a -4 penalty on the check.

1) So the feat brings back the wording of wild empathy to say you can use wild empathy on oozes at minus 4 to your wild empathy ability, as if it were a magical animal.

2) So cast call animal, use wild empathy, then use handle animal to give you an ooze pet. It's not a companion, but should work well to get a pet.

3)Anthropomorphic animal, which can be made permanent for a cuddly ooze/humanoid cohort, means you get to do the ooze voice.

I played in a PFS game where another PC used Ooze Whisperer to excellent effect. It shifted the attitude of a dangerous, powerful ooze to neutral, allowing us a to bypass a dangerous situation.

The Anthropomorphic thing is awesome, by the way.
