Just thinking it would be nice to have a map pack featuring some of the common spells that stick around on the battlefield for a while - Black Tentacles comes immediately to mind. And the horde of wall spells. Blade Barrier. Frostfall. Prismatic Sphere! Heck even Flaming Sphere. There's got to be dozens of spells to chose from. Entangle might require it's own flip mat though. :-)
The map pack could be set up similar to the vehicle pack where certain cards have clearly defined cut lines. You cut the card down to the shape needed to lay it on a grid.
This could potentially be something that's useful for people besides gamemasters. Players might want something like this for their spellcasters who favor area denial.

There is a set of stenciles floating around that include the various spell burst shapes. These can be left on the map to show the placement of various spells.
Yup. Those are the ones that most people use (at least around my parts).
