Unfortunately, their imagination is not unreasonable. Disney is one of the most sue-happy companies I have ever heard of.
Yeah, I think the "*Imagines*" would be more accurately replaced by "predicts."

I thought parody and reviews fell under the "fair use" clause of the copyright laws?
Fair use is something you claim in your defense after the lawsuit has begun. There are ample examples of cases where the judge has flat out told the defendant that he's not allowed to claim fair use.
So much for fair use, hmmm? Turns out the intellectual property system is s$+$, and a massive way for wealthy companies to own ideas. Who knew?
Yeah, fair use only seems to really apply if you've got a good lawyer or are too famous to be brushed under a rug.
yeah...the play explicitly straight up uses disney songs. I don't think they would have had a problem if the songs they used were parody of Disney songs, but they are not
parody usually has to include some form of mockery to get away with itself. People claiming 'parody' when its really 'cheap ripoff' are the main problem with the issue.

No. The main problem is that you can't know fair use will cover anything until the case is already happening. Thus, you need to risk what the lawsuit can do to you before you know if fair use applies. Ad hoc in casu, you know?
