Armor Check Penalty?

Rules Questions

CRB: Any armor heavier than leather, as well as any shield, hurts a character's ability to use Dexterity- and Strength-based skills. An armor check penalty applies to all Dexterity- and Strength-based skill checks.

Question: What is the amount of the penalty and where I can read about it (PRD link or CRB page number if possible)?

Thanks in advance!

CRB p151 Table 6-6 under the column "Armor Check Penalty".

The Armor Check Penalty applies a modifier to any skills that are dexterity or strength based. Masterwork armor/shields improve that modifier by 1.

Liberty's Edge

HERE is a link. The ACP, as has been stated, applies to STR- based and DEX-based dkills, such as Climb (STR) and Disable Device (DEX). If you are not proficient with the armor, the ACP also applies to rolls to hit.

ACP for armor and shields stack. If you are wearing full plate (ACP -6) and carrying a tower shield (ACP -10), your ACP is -16.

Thanks a lot!
