So...I've got a black bladed hexcrafter magus, and I don't think that my stats are all set up right. Thanks to some house ruling, my character will be wielding a scorpion whip as his black blade.
Current stats are a bit wonky on my elf, and I'm wanting advice on changing the stats around.
Str 16
Dex 14
Con 13
Int 16
Wis 10
Cha 7

Actually your stats look good assuming a str based magus. 16/12/15/14/10/7 pre racials.
Option:
S:17 D:8 C:13 I:16 W:10 C:7
This gives you a bit more str and int. Dex becomes 10 after racial. Con hurts in this build. Leveling up 1 goes into con, the rest into str.
option 2:
S:16 D:8 C:14 I:16 W:10 C:7 +a point in wis or dex
This ends up being the same at level 4, but gives you a nearly useless point in a low priority stat.
Option 3:
Trade the above stats con and int. This gives you a lower casting stat, but more health and fort saves.

If you plan to go finesse drop str. I would go 10/16/14/16/10/10. If a 20 point build drop wisdom to 9 and charisma to 7
After racials you have
s:10 D:18 C:12 I:18 W:? C:?
Alternatively keeping wis and cha you could have post racial stats of:
S:10 D:16 C:12 I:18 W:10 C:10
Or switch Int and Dex
You don't need extra damage on your weapon swing as much as you need to hit. You should have spells added to most of your hits dealing plenty of extra damage. I recommend going Kensai, it's a great archetype for a dex magus.
