How does Fleet Charge (Mythic) stack with Haste

Rules Questions

Ok, here is the conundrum.

I am a barbarian with the champion's ability fleet charge which includes the following relevant language:

"At any point during this movement, you can make a single melee or ranged attack at your highest attack bonus . . . . This is in addition to any other attacks you make this round."

Our reliable wizard has Haste on tap. The language included in haste that is relevant here is:

"When making a full attack action, a hasted creature may make one extra attack with one natural or manufactured weapon. The attack is made using the creature's full base attack bonus, plus any modifiers appropriate to the situation. This effect is not cumulative with similar effects."

------------------------------

My GM believes that the language in haste trumps the language of Fleet Charge. Specifically, that if you use the extra attack from haste, you cannot use the extra attack granted by Fleet Charge.

I feel that the fleet charge language trumps the haste language, especially when considered with the "mythic-ness" of of the ability over the "mundane nature" of a mere haste spell.

What think you, o wise community?

It's kind of hard to say, really. Both have specific inclusive/exclusive language, so it's hard to say which one takes precedence.

Given that the clause of Haste does not factor in Mythic rules, it moreso refers to effects such as the Speed weapon property, it's safe to say that they should stack, since one grants you an attack when making a Full Attack, and the other grants you an extra attack during a Charge. (Combined with Pounce, which I'm assuming is what's happening here, makes for a truly devastating combo.)

But the GM isn't entirely wrong for saying they don't stack, since one is entirely inclusive, whereas the other one is fairly exclusive, and saying it wouldn't stack because Haste doesn't stack with the Speed property (which gives only the extra attack in a full attack) isn't really wrong, but it's really a clashing of priorities. Something like this, I would let the GM rule on and stick with it.

However, given it's Mythic Rules, and the power creep (and stuff to keep track of) in Mythic Rules is exponentially greater, it's no shock that I say they would stack.

Fleet charge is a swift action. Haste only works on th full attack action.

Basically fleet charge and haste dontinteract. Katana all.

You swift action fleet charge get to your dedtination. At destination you full attack. When asking these questions always look katana th type of action

It is more of limiting the "extra attack" which, in normal-world PF, is generally is relegated to a single extra attack per round. Having the fleet charge ability (or really any of the champion abilities -- as each give an additional attack) grants, effectively, a second extra attack per round, when combo-ed with haste.

This is what makes my GM worried -- and what led him to vow to create a villain with this ability (combined with a few others) to destroy us (don't worry, he will fail). Something about double initiative, yadda yadda.

I think you got autocorrected? Katana? :)

But yes, what he said. The two really don't interact at all.

I agree that they shouldn't combine, but why wouldn't they? You can combine a swift action and a full round action in the same round.

@Seannos: Interact and Combine are opposites in this case; you can combine Haste and Fleet Charge because they don't interact, that's what Mojorat and Zhayne were saying, or at least that's how I understand them.
