I'm lookin' for some advice on a tribal honorific for a Shoanti character. He's a sun worshiper, and I've got some solar-based names, but I can't decide what names would work best:

Sun-Serpent
Serpent-In-The-Sun
Dawn-Feather
Fire-Bringer
Sun-Strider
Sun-Hammer
Bull (or Aurochs)-Of-The-Sun

Any ideas?

Rises-With-Sun
Light-Of-Dawn
Noon-Day-Clear-Sky
Shines-With-Fire

Fire-In-His-Hands (maybe more for a fire-based spellcaster).
Sky-Fire
Day-Star
Dawn-Star
Swallows-Darkness (or even Dark/Darkness-Eater)
Day-Burner
Sun-Wolf/Bear
Shines-Like-The-Sun
Dawn-Walker (but probably not Day-Walker)

More silly:
Steals-the-Water
Dries-the-Rain
Raisin-Maker

We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun.
But the hills that we climbed
were just seasons out of time.

It's a long name, I know, but if you want to play a Shoanti hippi, it's one of the best! :p

Auros or Aururos or similar, which could mean sunbull in common.

I think they are etymologically very similar or from same origin.
Aurinko = finnish of sun
Aurum = latin of gold
Aurochs = english of primitive great bull
?? = can't remember the one similar word, which means either color red or yellow.

Viking legends tell about great cow, who licked (=melted) the giant (=world) out of ice. There is something with sun and bulls, even egypt had bull god Apis, who had sun between his horns.

Ooh, I love coming up with names. Here's few possible name ideas for a Shoanti from the Sklar-Quah, off the top of my head:

Black Sun or Shadow-on-the-Sun (Born during a solar eclipse, probably not a good omen)
Basks-in-the-Sun (Someone who is slow-moving and/or contemplative)
Burns-as-Bright (Someone of great physical prowess and/or personal presence)
Little Beam (Someone who is less physically imposing than most Shoanti, but perhaps more quick and nimble)
Stares-at-the-Sun (Perhaps a not-so-bright warrior or a blind shaman)
Rays-on-His-Back (A hunter or a tracker, or someone else who spends a lot of time under the open sky)
Treads-on-Ashes or Treads-on-Embers (Not directly sun-related, but still fitting)

I like where this is going, but am having trouble figuring out how to combine "sun" and "bull" into something that sounds better than "Sun-Bull." The character IS strong and steady, like the aurochs that the Sklar-Quah revere, and I wanted that to be his totem. I just think "Sun-Bull" feels a little lazy. I'd like some sort of variant that sounds a bit more "punchy" if that makes any sense. Thanks for all the advice, everyone! Keep it coming! :)
