Cavalier

Rules Questions

A Cavalier "Spirited Charges" (3x damage with a lance) someone. If later in the same round another person provokes an attack of opportunity from the Cavalier, does the Cavalier's "Spirited Charge" bonus apply to the attack of opportunity? ... Cavalier's Charge (+4 to hit) bonus apply to the attack of opportunity?

Basically, do bonuses that help with attacks last until the beginning of the character's next turn?

Silver Crusade

No. If that were the case, it would say "This lasts for 1 round." The extra damage from the charge and the +4 to attack is just on the single charge attack.

Why would you get a bonus from charging when you weren't charging?

When there is a penalty to charging (+2 to hit, -2 to AC), it lasts the whole round (-2 to AC). I cannot find where it says the +2 to hit does not last the entire round. I will keep looking for it.

Scarab Sages

No, it applies only during the charge. In FAQ, [see what I did there? :)] You only get the bonus on your first attack in a charge if you have pounce.

It would be specifically noted if it lasted longer than one attack.
