Command Undead

Benefit: As a standard action, you can use one of your uses of channel negative energy to enslave undead within 30 feet. Undead receive a Will save to negate the effect. The DC for this Will save is equal to 10 + 1/2 your cleric level + your Charisma modifier. Undead that fail their saves fall under your control, obeying your commands to the best of their ability, as if under the effects of control undead. Intelligent undead receive a new saving throw each day to resist your command.

Control undead? Really? It have duration of 1 min/level, meaning 20 min at max level.

And intelligent undead recieve new saving throw EACH DAY?

Do i miss something?
I think it should say "as if under the effects of command undead". I know it is powerful spell, but still only as powerful as undead GM throw at players.

"Each day" is a relic of 3.5, when command undead had no duration and you could build your personal undead army (respecting the HD limit).
Its not really command undead, because that spell works as Charm Person but on undead, but as control because they are essentially your slaves to command.

Either:
A) The controlled undead have no duration, because thats how it worked before and it does mention they become slaves.
B) It lasts 1 min/level regardless of mindless or intelligent.

I like A, makes sense having army of mindless peons if you are necromancer, but intelligent undead will try to resist.
