Could someone help me with my story.
I am ok with rewriting the story. I need your input ideas or is the story ok.
The mother was a capture noble drow slave was raped by a human slave owner. The drow mother got pregnant. The drow mother sacrifices herself knowing she was going to be killed from escaping. She wanted to insure the safety of the unborn child. In the misted of her travels she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in deepest part of the forest. During that moment of the birth of the half-drow and half human born. The strangest thing happen during the birth. A light coming for the opening up above the forest shines a light from the full moonlight with the glowing bluish color appear around the child. The drow mother knows she could not stay much longer; a bunch a humans from the slave camp spotted the escaped drow. The men shot arrows at the drow and hit her from the rear. She carried her child for miles in the deep forset run across a strange cloaked hooded person. The dying drow begged this person for the survival of her child. This hooded person did what the drow mother requested. This person handed her a weapon and the told the drow mother in drow language “as you wish my lady”. The ranger placed the child off to trees to hind the child. The ranger ran back to help defend the dying noble drow. It was too late. The ranger fought the men that hunted down the drow. to insure the safety of the child.

ok childishness asideTo sum up; a drow woman sacrificed herself to escape slavery and was killed in the attempt. During this process she handed off her slave masters child to a drow ranger and asked him to protect the baby, which he accepted because of her nobility.
Is this half-drow a PC or NPC and do you have plans for this light and aura?

I want to have a story for the PC for a backstory. I have plans for a Half-Drow. Keep in mind the ranger is a human. The ranger has the one of his tough languages: drow. That is why he was able to understand the drow dying mother.
or
If the ranger is a drow. since the child is a half breed either raise the child or brought the child to a ranger camp. This way, maybe a better survival chance?
If I am understanding you correctly you want suggestions and ideas for the background of you half-drow ranger.
my first ideas are to just go with the story you have:
mother escapes, comes across a ranger and begs his help, he reluctantly agees.
He leaves with the baby, the mother leads her pursuers away before they catch up with her.
the ranger never sees her again. Saddled with this curious-skinned child he raises the boy to his best ability.
Depending on how you want your character to be his warden and mentor can be a compassionate, caring father-figure, a strict closed off survivalists or an amalgam of the two.
maybe your character grew up only learning hard lessons and how to defend and fend for himself.
Maybe he resents his mentor for not saving his mother.
Maybe his mentor sent him away as aprentice to other ppl to give him a broader education then what he had to offer.
maybe your character has a burning hatred for drow.
or a aching need to know where he came from.
regardless, keep the story short and clear, the important part is what happens in game, not before.
you may have noticed that I didn't specify the name, or background of the mother and the father. Nor did I specify if the mother died or was recaptured.
That's intentional: give that to your gm as potential plot hooks he can develop in his game if he'd like. The answers to these questions can also be great goals and motivations for your character.
That's my first thoughts, hope any of these sparks lit something in your imagination.
