His name is Steve...the potions master! A man aged early through a lifetime of ordeals. His skills in the apothecaries seek to cure his own inner demons.
Of course his focus should be on the blessing of the Gods.
Perhaps you could discard a BotG to "transform" to get increased stats and remain in this state until the end of the turn. You may explore again with each monster defeated. (Bloodlust?) (perhaps can't weapons in this state?)
Roles could maybe be a feral beast ("uncontrolled") and a "controlled beast" where he has finally found a potion to control his transformations.
Like to see him maybe use the Craft skill and perhaps have an item focus. Find a way to use potions differently? (perhaps use on others)
No allies for his card feat for his distrust of himself around others.
Let's make this guy.
And no his doesn't have to be named Steve.

How about one of his powers just be a version of the Werewolf power in the game? Something like:
If the top card of the blessing discard pile is Blessing of the Gods, add 3 to your strength and constitution checks.
Or if you wanted it to be his dice, say that he can roll a d12 in place of the normal die.
Potions are already usable on others (except Holy Water). How about you take the dice version of the power above and for the potions, say:
You may recharge an item with the liquid trait to add 1 to by another character.
You could have upgrades for it to add 2 or to make it playable on yourself. Or to even let you do it with as many items as you wanted (sort of like Sajan with blessings, but this would just give you a flat bonus).

This is my own version of a werewolf (which has nothing to do with potions, so not that near at your idea). I tested him till the end of AP3 (because my AP4 just arrived today, god, sometimes i hate not living in the USA.)

As i said, he has nothing to do with a potion master, but perhaps a few of his stuff is a inspiration for you.
And for the rest, tell me what you think, and if anyone is interested in my other chars, which are mostly as far from the norm as this one.^^

Could be interesting as a base power.
Discard a Blessing of the Gods to add 3 ([] +4) to your St and con checks.
-You may discard ([] recharge) an item with the liquid trait instead of the normal banish when played on another character.
This could then leave the other power for a the "feral beast" role
Discard a Blessing of the Gods to add 3 ([] +4) ([] +5) to your strength and con.
-BURY ([] discard) a BotG to Roll a D12 instead of your normal strength or dexterity dice. You remain in this state until the end of the turn. You may explore again with each monster ([]barrier) defeated. (must be the only character at this location?)
So I suppose you could choose to Discard the BotG for one effect or bury it for the other?
This could leave his other role to be a healer with his potions.
So perhaps in his "human state" he'd fairly low dice.

I´ve chosen the Lunatic, because i thought he would be more fun than just raw unrestrained power.
My other chars would be a golem (fighter), a catburgler (literally)(rogue), a very young dragon (mage), a ranger (kind of a turnaround harsk), a dragon shaman (the one that got me into building), a slaver and a slavegirl. (p.s: all of them are played till the end of AP3)
Tell me which one you want so see first, because i don´t think i will post more than one a day^^ (if you want the cat, the slaver or the slavegirl; pm me, because they have themes that i think are unfit for this forum, and i don´t want to risk anything by posting them publicly.)

Or, if someone with authority in this forum is willing to take the time and pm me to have a look at my questionable characters, that would be really fine too. So i can get a clear answer of what would be acceptable and what not.
Perhaps hiding questionable content behind a spoiler button with a clear warning lable, or something like that.
