Hi there!
I am a little confused about how this blood of dragons works exactly.
From what I understand, when I level in DD I keep receiving the sorcerer's bloodline specials as if I were leveling in sorcerer itself.
Then here's the tricky part for me.
At lvl 2 DD I get a bloodline feat. According to blood of dragons, I'd be a lvl 7 sorcerer(assuming I started out as lvl 5 sorcerer with lvl 1 DD).
In the sorcerer table it states that I get a bloodline feat at lvl 7.
This seems about right but the next bit bothers me.
At lvl 5 DD I get another bloodline feat. According to blood of dragons, I'd be a lvl 10 sorcerer by now. In the sorcerer table I gain nothing whatsoever in specials.
If I am reading this right, I conclude that the blood of dragons works seperatly of the DD table. This would mean that I would get two bloodline feats at lvl 2 DD. One from DD and one from sorcerer.
Also the Bloodline powers and spells are not included in the DD table but they are still included in the description of blood of dragons.
Can someone help me make heads or tails of this? Thanks :)

A dragon disciple adds his level to his sorcerer levels when determining the powers gained from his bloodline.
You don't gain bonus feats from your Sorcerer class anymore so you only gain the class abilities from Dragon Disciple so one bonus feat at 2nd and one bonus feat at 5th. You ONLY add your dragon disciple levels to your sorcerers to determine your bonus spells and your Draconic Bloodline powers.
I run a Dragon Disciple too.
She's Paladin 2/Sorcerer 3/Dragon Disciple 4 right now...
That means she's a 7th level sorcerer for her Draconic Bloodline she just got a damage upgrade for her claws from 1d4 to 1d6 and they're magic. She also gained Mage Armor at 5th level, Resist Energy at 7th and just got Fly at 9th.

Blood of Dragons adds your Dragon Disciple levels to your Sorcerer levels for determining your bloodline powers.
So a level 5 Sorcerer/level 5 Dragon Disciple would have 3 Bloodline Powers just like a level 10 Sorcerer.
You would also gain Bloodline Spells as appropriate.
For Bloodline Feats. At Dragon Disciple 2,5, and 8 you would gain your choice of Bloodline Bonus Feats. This has nothing to do with your Sorcerer levels.

I will mention as well that at 1st, 5th and 9th level you lose a caster level.
If you're a Sorcerer 5/Dragon Disciple 5 your bloodline powers and bonus spells aren't affected you still count as a 10th level sorcerer for that BUT for spells you are 8th level; so you've JUST gained 4th level spell slots at 10th level.
