Duelist shenanigans

Can a Monk with some feat or class ability to make his unarmed strike do piercing damage use the Duelist abilities Precise Strike and Parry?

By RAW, yes.

The same way a duelist could use Precise Strike and Parry if fighting with a light or heavy pick, spiked armor, spiked gauntlet, shortspear, trident, etc. Parry even works with a light or heavy spiked shield.

I constructed a Monk/duelist (monk 8 Duelist 2) and had quite a blast. Altho you loose out on a lot of cool high end monk abilities you get AC derived from 3 stats, and the damage is more reliable and better (+1 point /lv vs a die step every 4). throw in combat reflexes and you have a bad mamma jamma!
