Smokey Mc Pot

A druid that uses drugs, and actively carries around a pot of it for his entangle spells.

Summoner/druid is awesome xD!!

PS: thanks to all! keep posting

Sczarni

Playing a ditsy witch/wizard is always entertaining. Give him/her low wis (making it plausible)but high int (so they don't lose any usefulness) and play them as forgetful. In the case of a witch, he/she could see an enemy goblin get hurt and run over to heal it but accidentally cast inflict minor wounds killing the poor thing. Then get upset because you killed it. You'd be useful but if you played the ditsy part well enough you'd humor everyone at the same time.

Grand Lodge

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Actually, any martial focused on Dirty Trick maneuvers could be hilarious.

You could basically fight like one of the Three Stooges.

The Exchange

I remember a suggestion quite some time back about running a sorceror with minimal intelligence and an Improved Familiar, so that essentially you're running a familiar... and his big dumb henchman.

(Similar tricks apply for a paladin or a Nature oracle, but in those cases you'd have to be dumb indeed to be dumber than your mount.)

A pyromaniac mite Cave Druid with the fire domain, exiled from his clan because, "...dem got tired of me burnin all da pretty bugs and kick me da $@!# out!"

You mean, like John Smith, and his totally awesome Horse?

I am liking the idea of the gnome prankster. Keep your self stocked with fish or some other ridiculous items and use the prankster's swap ability.

Replace sword with fresh fish.

One of my favorite funny men was yes of course a gnome. He was my first 3e character a cleric of Garl Glittergold. He took it upon himself to be the voice and face of the party. Whenever we met people I introduced the party as if they were all my entourage. "Hello my name is Gleep Gnackle Stumbleduck. This is Draenor of Valerias (our paladin who was actually a prince) my faithful man-at-arms, Zantos (a double bladed Darth Maul fanboy)my bodyguard, Raven(our wizard) my faithful scribe and so on.

A one shot adventure a dm ran for us back in college featured a wizard, "Max the Argyler." Max loved argyle patterns. His ridiculous pointy hat wizard gear was multiple argyle patters. He even gave our half-ogre barbarian a back scracher which turned his back argyle.

A few months back there was a thread about girl friendly games. One of the suggestions was hello kitty and my little pony my immediate response was catfolk caviler.

Cayzle? As in, this Cayzle?

Sure, sure, there's only one Cayzle on the Intertubes. Cayzle of Cayzle's Wemic Site. Pleased ta meetcha! :-)

Nonono, almost every name imaginable has multiple people using it.

That being said, it's nice to meet you as well. It was your site that first inspired me to look deeper into the rules and start analyzing them and optimizing my characters back in 07 or 08.

Thank you.

Seriously, that's something to hear.

You made my day!

Dark Archive

Bring back characters from Rudolph movies and play their songs during intros.

Shadow Lodge

A 7INT Impossible Bloodline Sorcerer who actively disbelieves in magic, and anytime someone even implies that he casts spells he responds by going "Me? Magical? That's Impossible!"

Dwarven White-Haired Witch who eats fish, chicken, and small-sized creatures with his beard.

Sober, Cleanshaven Dwarf who , hates the existence of alcohol, and thinks that having a beard is unclean. Give him a Jamaican accent and actively defy all the sterotypes.

Irish Halfling "Leprechaun" flavored Heavens Oracle who runs up to people he doesn't like and screams "RAINBOW TO THE FACE!" and casts Colourspray.

Gnome who thinks he is a goblin who pretends to be a gnome, and uses the disguise skill to disguise himself as a goblin under his gnome disguise.

I once played a LE monk who took the vow of silence and had 5 CHA.

I role played him as writing really offensive notes on his note pad and passing them to NPCs. It was a lot of fun.

:D thanks to all!! very awesome stuff!
i like very much halfling leprechaun XD

also gnome who thinks he's a goblin diguised as a gnome XD!

Loved max the argyler ahaha xD!

for gnome prankster, his swap ability...is that disponible also for a thief?

PS: the Rudolph idea, make me remember my pirate gnome when all party is gone to Gnome-Land, and i was, from the start of campaign, talking about an ancient hero called "Gnorro (-Zorro-)" and when we came to his memorial , i was singing "gnorro!gnorro! XD
