This is what I am thinking...
Possibly going 1 level in Zen Archer (GM will allow it for using thrown weapons)to gain the flurry of blows, some decent saves (Swashbuckler has terrible saves) and free precise shot feat.
The reason for this is to add the ability to throw daggers with pretty nice precision. Swashbuckler allows +Swash level to damage for thrown piercing weapons within 30 ft. I would like to add that little flair bit to the character.
What are your thoughts? Im doing it mostlyto get the additional throw and a little better saves. The +0 BAB sucks for sure.
Thoughts?

You could just spend a feat on Rapid shot for the extra throw. It will have the same effect (-2 attack for an extra toss), and won't cost you the loss of a BAB.
Swashbuckler gets Good Ref and Will Saves, so you basically need to shore up the Fort. Again, dropping a feat on it is a good choice, or, if your build is too feat hungry, you could pick up a +1 fort trait, be a half orc and take the sacred tattoo alternative to get +1 luck to all saves (and take the fate's favored trait to make that +2), or be a halfling, who get +1 racial on all saves.
You could also get a Fort boost via Con boosting items.

Dagger throwing is generally not a good idea. They have terrible range, and since they are not ammunition, you need Quick draw to make a full attack, and once you start enchanting them, you will need a blinkback belt to be able to make a full attack which will lock out enhancement belts. However, as a thrown weapon, an Agile Dagger is a possibility for dex to damage.
That said, if you do invest in the feats and equipment to make it work, you can put out a decent amount of damage with thrown daggers with the swashbuckler, especially if you also took River Rat.
Stay away from the monk dip for this. As revaar said, Rapid Shot will give you the same benefit as flurry without diluting your BAB.

Well the Zen Archer gets a free feat (precision shot) as well as the flurry of misses (Rapid Shot). So that would be two feats to make up for. Throw in the character is an Aasimar and he doesnt get the free bonus feat...
So basically, at what point is the 1 level dip worth it?
Also, I was under the impression that the Swash got got Ref saves but crap everything else. Did they come out with errata since the Revised Advanced Class Guide Play Test?

Doesn't flurry's BAB only progress with your monk level, so your flurry attacks will always be -1/-1, rather than Rapid Shot at BAB-2/BAB-2?
Negatives:
- Low attack bonus on the flurry attacks.
- Cannot wear armor and flurry.
- Adding Wis to the already long list of stats you need.
- Missing out on 1 BAB
- Slower acquisition of Swashbuckler abilities (You don't get level to damage until 4th level and it will be at level-1, 6th level before you get the expanded critical range, etc.)
- Lower hit die for 1 level and you lose out on 1 favored class bonus.
Positives:
- Free Precise Shot.
- +2 to all your saves.
- Perfect Strike 1/day, as long as your GM allows it with daggers.
- Improved Unarmed Strike for free.
I personally wouldn't do it. Even if your Flurry did scale with BAB, putting off the Swashbuckler goodies, giving up armor and adding Wis to your required stats just doesn't sound worth. The two classes don't synergize mechanically. A level of Fighter, Barbarian or Cavalier/Samurai would make more sense to me.
But, whatever floats your boat: It's your character.

I looked into a swashbuckler dagger throwing build for PFS, I thought it was awesome! I may still play him sometime but I'm kind of drowning in PC's already:)
Hmmm, well allowing flurry with daggers is pretty interesting. Its really less op than bows anyway (and takes an extra feat-quickdraw- to even work). How does he feel about the rest of the stuff in the zen archer class? If he lets wisdom go to attack it may be better off staying in zen archer for some levels. Of course this is all sounding very MAD at this point, more so if you actually care about the swashbuckler powers and need charisma. If I was going to do this I'd talk to him about going to level 3, 4 or 6 zen archer, and then going straight swashbuckler after that.
My plan was to go Strength build and use the Belt of Mighty Hurling. Unfortunately its a little pricey, so you won't be using strength for to hit for the first several levels. The greater belt even grants your weapons returning, though by RAW I'm not sure multiple items work with returning.
The big problem that I see with the build is DR, as enchanting 20 daggers even with just a +1 would be insanely expensive, so clustered shots ASAP is a must. Otherwise the build seemed to gel around level 6 or 7. The good thing is your still good enough in melee to hold your own before that when throwing isn't going to cut it. Your defenses will be hurting, but using star knives will give you 30 foot range, so your really no closer than a witch needs to be.

Well it works really well with a humanoid based game. Once you start adding in dragons and large sized creatures, the Swash really dives. Very hard to parry things and just doesnt match up. But in a humanoid city, it rocks.
And I was planning the Quickdraw feat at lv 1 so that would help. But as for the enchanted daggers, honestly MW or even normal daggers would be fine for humanoid when you dont have to bypass DR.

That is nice as it gets but 2 levels!?!?!?! ACK the pain!
Plus I dont think I can pull off LG with this guy. CG all day long. Too much a gambler and ladies man to roll schoolboy paladin.
But love the idea.
Wish pathfinder would budge some on that strict LG paladin stuff and make it more holy paladins of a deity as opposed to law
