When to take 2nd Barb level dip for Alchemist?

I just leveled my alchemist to level 4 (1st Level Drunken Brute archtype and 2 levels alchemist). Going for hyde build and was wondering when should I take my second level in barbarian? I can take now then add fiend totem as rage power to pickup gore attack or I can put another level into alchemist.

Thoughts?

Honestly I would have said before taking any levels of alchemist. A barb is most dangerous or useful for dips when u have already hit ur main stride OR at the very beginning so that u have the most survivability. Now that u have some levels I'd wait till I've hit what u think is ur stride.

I may try to wait until end of month and get alchemy book. If something great in there then ill do alchemist. If not, I'm still early in path and barbarian for totem would help with feral mutagen. I'm a tiefling with Maw alternative racial trait so the totem with feral mutagen would give me bite, gore, claw x2.
