Thinking about doing an Eldritch Knight.
Two options, not sure which to choose.
Option 1: Fighter 1, Scryer wizard 1, EK 10, Fighter 1, Scryer wizard 7. This gives me fighter level 12 for fighter only feats, BAB +16, caster level 17(9th level spells, just barely).
Option 2: Aasimar(for the Spell Like ability), Paladin 3, Sorcerer 1, EK 10, Sorcerer 6. Charisma to hit(smite x1, very limited), Charisma to resistances(minimum of +7 to all), Immune to fear and disease, Fighter level 10 for fighter only feats(miss out on greater weapon specialization), BAB +16, caster level 16(level 8 spells, just barely).
Very close, same BAB at the end, it looks like level 9 spells and prepared vs. level 8 spells, spontaneous and a big bonus to resistances and a couple of nice immunities.
Anything I missed? Any thoughts on what would work best?

have you considered option 3) fighter 1, scryer wiz 1, ek 10, hell knight signifier 8....
At 2nd level, if a Hell Knight enforcer has the Arcane Armor Training feat, he gains Arcane Armor Mastery as a bonus feat.
At 5th level, the action required to use this feat changes from a swift action to an immediate action.
At 4th level and again at 7th level, a Hell Knight enforcer gains an assiduous gaze ability chosen from the list below. A Hell Knight enforcer can use each assiduous gaze ability he possesses for a number of rounds per day equal to 1/2 his class level. These rounds need not be consecutive. A Hell Knight enforcer can activate an assiduous gaze ability as a swift action to examine a single creature, object, or 5-foot square within 30 feet. A Hell Knight enforcer must be wearing his enforcer mask to use these abilities, and his caster level while using them is equal to his character level.
Elucidation (Su): Discern each active spell on the target, including the spell's effect and caster level.
Morality (Sp): Determine whether the target is chaotic, evil, good, or lawful, as well as the strength of its aura as if having studied it for 3 rounds using detect chaos, detect evil, detect good, and detect law.
Scrutiny (Su): Discern whether the target has spell-like abilities and spellcasting abilities, whether the spellcasting ability is arcane or divine, and the strength (see detect magic) of the most powerful spell or spell-like ability the target currently has available.
Veracity (Sp): Observe the target as if using true seeing. A Hell Knight enforcer must be 7th level to select this ability.
Vigilance (Su): See through up to 5 feet of stone, wood, or similar barriers as if they didn't exist. This effect cannot penetrate metal of any kind.
At 3rd level, while a Hell Knight enforcer wears armor, he reduces the armor check penalty by 1 (to a minimum of 0), and reduces the arcane spell failure chance by 5%.
At 8th level, he reduces his armor check penalty by an additional 1, and reduces his arcane spell failure by an additional 5%. Additionally, at 8th level, when a Hell Knight enforcer's speed is reduced by wearing medium or heavy armor, his unique training offsets the speed reduction by 5 feet.

Another option is Aasimar Oracle(Battle) 1/ Sorcerer 1/ Eldritch Knight 10/ Mystic Theurge 8 taking Heavenly Radiance at level 3 to qualify for Mystic Theurge. You end up with BAB +14, 9th level arcane spells, 4th level divine spells. The Battle mystery has a lot of nice revelations but be careful as your oracle level never improves. You can focus on Charisma for both classes and the build works with whatever bloodline, curse and combat style you like.

I had thought of that option as well, but
a) the curse is not what everyone wantsb) your saves are not nearly as good
c) the monk's bonuses (saves, wis to ac etc.) are just plain better IMO
But it certainly is an option :-)

I second this! Have someone playing one in a campaign I'm running and its very versatile. Blasting in fullplate with no failure chance doesn't suck at all.
I'm playing a Sohei monk/Empyreal sorcerer/EK as well, its good!

I'm actually playing an undine Cleric of Gozreh level 5 with a big constictor snake in one game and a samsaran Wizard level 6 item creation specialist in the other. I like to help people make insane things on the internet but in games I usually try to match my power level to the other players to make the GMs life easier.

My other PbP PC (only two players + GM, so I get to play 2 PCs) is an elf barbarian with a curvesword. I'm taking the +1 ft of tpeed favored class bonus, and working up to the virtual Spring Attack rage power (Bestial Leaper? something like that.). I think it will be fun to have a speed of 55 or 60 feet and do Vital Strike, and eventually, Improved Vital Strike damage. Move 30 feet, do 3d10+11 damage (+20 when power attacking), move 30 feet as a full round action sounds like fun.
