I will second this. Hehe. I would not at all mind an turn based app for my friends and I. But saying that does not mean that it is easy, however. There are a lot of issues that could come in playing a group. i think that it could work if it were one hero. I think that it would work great, in fact, but imagine the amount of checks that would need to be passed in order to play in a group. If everyone in the game has a blessing when you flip over a card from the location deck, all of them would either need to confirm playing a blessing or decline it. How do you decide the order in which that happens? What if you need a blessing, but someone passes the option thinking that someone else will give it to you?
I think there are a lot of issues with playing with a group, but I think that if an app were to come out that let me play a single player run through, that would be amazing, and you could just take my money right now.

An actual online version of the card game, or just an app companion tool for the physical card game (like character cards and card management)? I'd like both, actually.
I have a feeling the first is unlikely at this time. Making an online version of a complex card game like this would be no small feat. MtG has done it over the years to varying levels of success. But the difference between MtG and PACG is the former is a series of single match games against different opponents, while PACG benefits from the socialization and strategics of a group of people who must work together scenario after scenario. Something that is difficult to reproduce in an online environment.
The second, helper apps, would be more likely. Though I expect they would come from the community, and not Paizo directly. I'm still waiting for an excellent character card/manager for an iPhone/iPad.

I actually have two companion apps on my phone. I have the app that you can use to track your characters, but I feel that that still leaves me wanting more. I would like it a lot more if I could store characters on it, so actually keep my characters separate. this may be the case, but i have not seen it in the app. I also have the probabilities app. I think that app is great. It is constantly being updated for new cards that come out, and is very useful when deciding which weapons or spells you want to use to attempt checks.

I've actually been working recently on a tutorial for how to get your gaming group set up with playing the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game online using OCTGN. It involves scanning in all of your cards, which can be annoying, but is worth the time and effort required in my opinion.
The first two parts of my tutorial can be found here: PACG Facebook Page

An online version of the game would be pretty sweet. Something like Ascension or Carcassonne where you get the base set so Lots Perils and AP1, and then have to buy the other APs as add on. The downside to any deck building game (and some tile games) is the setup which an online version would take care of. And with multiple save slots I could easily see playing this in multiple instances at the same time.
