Obedience: Perform a series of cuts upon the flesh while
periodically auto-asphyxiating. Gain a +4 profane bonus on all effects linked to slashing damage.
Is the damage caused by a slashing weapon included in these "effects"?
What exactly is an "effect linked to slashing damage"? I can't think of anything off the top of my head.

It gives a +4 bonus to effects linked to slashing damage. And there we stumble on the undefined game term "effect". My interpretation is that any effect born from slashing damage (so, not the damage, but the consequences) has hit DC increased by 4, and any roll increased by 4.
Very few things come to mind that fall under that definition:
1) the Cornugon infernal wound ability;
2) the saves against negative levels inflicted by a weapon or limb doing slashing damage (like a life stealer sword)
3) maybe poison delivered by a slashing attack (but the poison is a rider, so it is doubtful)
4) I think there is some monster that gives painful wounds (an example is Baphometh glaive, Aizerghaul)
Maybe some other stuff, but generally it seems a very limited power.

If a slashing weapon dropped a character with this Obedience, I would give them the +4 bonus to stabilize... but that's just me. Probably to the Heal check to stop bleed, as well. It probably does not normally apply to those, but you might as well try make it as useful as possible. Throw a dog a bone.

I don't agree with those examples, but your post has made me realize that that part of the feat would apply to all the "Critical" feats that allow a save (like Staggering Critical) and to the Rogue talents that allow a save. Increasing the DC of that stuff makes it a bit more useful.
We should remember that the ability is only part of the Obeiance effects. The guy taking it receives 3 SLA too:
"manifesting as spell-like abilities usable twice per day each.
1: create pit
2: phantasmal killer
3: harm"
Receiving those SLA at the cost of a feat isn't bad, so I don't think there is the need to "Throw a dog a bone." as the whole effect of the feat isn't weak.
The benefits are delayed, as the creature taking the feat gets the spells at 12, 16, and 20 HD, but nothing forces someone into taking it before the SLAs are available.

The Obedience feats are seldom weak. I understand that there isn't necessarily a need to throw a dog a bone... but I am very willing to do exactly that for people that take Obedience feats [and actually roleplay them]. There are requirements to gain those benefits, and a player has to be willing to meet those requirements through consistent roleplay. In this case, they meander off to a quiet place to cut and choke themsleves for an hour each morning... kind of kinky and weird, but whatever... you roleplay that as part of your demon-worshipping character, and I will throw you a bone... like a +4 profane bonus on saves to stabilize if brought to 0hp by a slashing weapon. It is absolutely no problem for me to do so, and it rewards players for good roleplaying. The situation is likely to never occur, anyways.
