Hey Guys/Gals,
Decided to try a Trickster for an upcoming campaign. I was hoping someone could give me some advice/feedback on the strongest possible build.
I'm dead set on playing a Gnome. I'm just not 100% sure on the best level to level breakdown for Class Selection/Feat Selection to reach Trickster.
Since the class has requirements from an Arcane Spell Caster/Rogue I'm a little confused.
Should I go Wizard/Rogue | Rogue/Wizard or Sorc in place of Wizard etc?

Arcane Trickster is one of the classes that was underpowered before the SLA ruling and is interesting now. It works well as Rogue 3/Wizard 1/Arcane Trickster 10/Wizard 6 with a race that gives access to a 2nd level SLA. That build gives you 7d6 sneak attack frontloaded and 9th level casting snuck in 3 levels late.
I am not navigating the FAQ well, but it clarifies that Spell Like Abilities count as being able to cast x level spells, which was always the case but many people had been confused.
