Invisibility Sphere Movement

Rules Questions

I just recently started using Invisibility Sphere, but I found that keeping a couple party members inside of it was rather awkward. I suggested everyone ready an action to move with me as I moved, but this seems very clunky and inefficient. Is this how it is supposed to be done?

Outside of combat, it should just work. I mean, can you walk with your friends in a 20ft diameter circle and keep up with one another? OF COURSE! But the way combat functions and the rules it's hard to make them work together well since you can't have creatures moving simultaneously.

Inside combat...well i just recommend you don't use it in combat.

In my game the party actually drilled with it. After much practice and coordination they were allowed to generally move like this in narrative time, but in combat they have to use Delay and act at the same time. The game mechanics are not built for simultaneous actions, so some DM fiat are required anyway.

If the PCs have never used the spell before and try to use it in combat without spending any effort on it, they would probably mess up. Moving in formations in RL is not something every can do with no training.
