Multiclassing

Rules Questions

Okay, I need someone to explain how to add BAB when multiclassing to me. A level 16 fighter's BAB is +16/+11/+6/+1, and a level four cleric's BAB is +3. To which number is the +3 added to?

All of them.

The fighter's BAB is actually just +16; the other three numbers are the iterative attacks all characters get as part of a high BAB. So you take the 16, then add 3, get 19 ... then subtract 5 over and over to get your iterative attacks ...

19/14/9/4

I believe the first, then you subtract 5 from every attack after that.
Following normal rules.

So, Fighter 16/Cleric 4 would be +19/+14/+9/+4.

Okay, so tell me this now, a level 11 Cleric's BAB is +8/+3, now where do these numbers go?

That's it. If those are the only at levels he posses, that's all the attacks he gets.

I didn't explain myself enough, a level 16 fighter's BAB is +16/+11/+6/+1, and a level 11 cleric's BAB is +8/+3, now where do these numbers go?

You can't go past level 20, but if you could ...

Short version: Add the first two numbers (16 and 8), then subtract 5 repeatedly until you can't.

24/19/14/9/4

(The numbers after the slashes confuse things more than they help.)

Well, beyond the fact that the rules don't really support level 27 characters well, it would go like this.

+24/+19/+14/+9

It doesn't go lower than four because I'm pretty sure it states in the "above 20" rules that you only four base-attacks ever. I could be wrong, in which case a "+4" would be added at the end.

Like I said, I don't think you get the fifth attack.

I'm making a demigod at the moment, so I have the others rules for this figured out, thanks again.
