Mythic Display of dexterity

Rules Questions

And stealth. Since stealth is a drawn out process and sometimes more then one roll.

I have a mythic shadow dancer. And we are in wrath of the righteous. Most of the enemies have higher perceptions then my 20 stealth. Could I use display of dex to help. And would I have to use it over n over spending mythic points to stay stealthed.

Silver Crusade

Is there a question here?

Also there's a dragon coming up is there a chance of me stealthing up to the dragon as a shadowdancer?

Silver Crusade

Well, seeing as the dragon probably has either True Seeing or See Invisiblity, probably not.

True seeing does not help if you are simply sneaking...a lot of people don't ever even read true seeing...they just believe that its some form of ultimate catch all for perception

Its very much possible to sneak up on a dragon once you realize this

Not really, considering a true dragon has blind sense. Unless, of coarse, you stay out of that range.

There is a feat to get around blindsense...and scent...and boots for tremorsense

So yes really...still very much possible

Ive done it myself...with my assassin (yes the PrC that everyone says sucks) and even death attacked it

Probably my proudest moment for that character

What feats are those?

Quote:

Dampen Presence

Your habitual stillness makes you difficult to perceive for creatures that use blindsight or blindsense.

Prerequisites: Skill Focus (Stealth), Stealth 5 ranks.

Benefit: You may use the Stealth skill to hide from any creature attempting to perceive you using blindsight or blindsense, even if you are clearly in that creature's perceptual field. This feat does not confer any advantages against other forms of perception, such as scent, vision, or tremorsense.

Quote:

Conceal Scent

You have learned the essential tricks of disguising your odor and keeping creatures from locating you by your scent.

Prerequisites: Stealth 1 rank, Survival 1 rank.

Benefit: Creatures cannot use the scent ability to track you (though they can still track you through standard means such as footprints). Creatures with scent can detect your presence by smell at half the normal distance, but cannot pinpoint your location with scent.

And the boots I mentioned

Quote:

Boots of the Soft Step

Source Legacy of Fire Player's Guide 26 Aura faint transmutation; CL 7th Slot feet; Price 1,000 gp; Weight 2 lbs.

Description

These bronze-riveted boots have thick leather soles that compress and expand as you walk. This reduces the force of your footfalls, making you more difficult to detect with tremorsense. If you are walking at half speed, a creature with tremorsense can only sense you at half the usual distance. If you walk at one-quarter speed or slower, a creature with tremorsense cannot detect you at all.

Wait, so the dragon still knew you were there and did...nothing?

I didn't have the conceal scent feat...I used a spell

Silver Crusade

Sorry, I actually meant to say Blindsense in my first post, not True Seeing. So yes, with Dampen Presence you could sneak up on the dragon. Without it, no you could not.
