My paladin's mini is mainly white and gold, and my current dice are actually pretty difficult to read, so I thought new dice may be in order! I'd like some that kind of relate to the character, so if there's white ones with gold writing that would be perfect, but any other suggestions that would go well with him are greatly appreciated! :)

Check out the Gemini Dice from Chessex. The first color in the name is usually the color of the dice, and the second the color of the inking.

Chessex's Gemini series has a set that's swirled gold/white with black lettering. Following Liz's link they're one of the last listed in the Gemini section, actually under the Gemini 5 heading to the right of the longer Gemini column.
These white with gold lettering seem easy enough to read.
And a paladin deserves a shiny gold dice bag.

I now offically love cal. In a hes done me a great favor and will get two cookies at the tabe instead of one. I only will touch dice that are blue. Other dice hate me. Plus blue is awesome. I tried to get my friend to give me his die-cast/blued steel D6 that I wanted but he got it before me. The thing weighs quite a bit. The numbers are etched in and very very durable. He actually has a full set. Going all the way to 100. However, the D100 is extremely heavy. He also has a set of hand made wooden dice. However they are cheat dice, They are weighted just right so it always rolls high.

I wish I could do that. But my grandparents are busy fixing the car. This has already run them 500$. My pathfinder experience so far has run them maybe 45$. So yeah. Snickers will not be getting his D20 soon.
Oh and I make oozes into tasty snacks for the game table. The gelatin cubes are extremely good. Now all I need to do is pick up the gods and magic inner sea guide and I will be loved by all tables. Because my ideal char is a cleric of miliani with the domains of healing and protection.

I second Chessex's dice. I also highly recommend Q-Workshop's dice. Their Carrion Crown dice have been my very favorite dice since I bought them.

I have a set of Q-Workshop "Steam Punk" dice that were given to me by a friend. They're very cool looking but roll like wet poop for me. For anyone else who picks them up they seem programmed to roll max this and critical that. Every time.
If you want old school, get some of the awesome sharp edged and clear (but colorful) classics from Gamescience. I still have several sets of them from back in the day and their edges are as sharp as ever. I switched to Chessex when it became apparent my aging eyes could see the numbers better on them than the unmarked clear dice... lol

Cal: I've had a few sets of the "Precision" dice from GameScience and didn't care for them. What disappointed me is the fact that they don't clean up the point where the die is separated from the sprue. I never could get the excess shaved off properly, which always resulted in those sides not laying flat, and looking ugly. That has to impact the roll results which (IMO) runs counter to the point of the dice.
Also the sharp edges don't feel good in the palm, and they tend to snag the felt surface on my dice trays.
Now the Dwarven Metal dice... those are right up my alley. :)

Has anyone used any of the 3d printed dice made by ceramicwombat on shapeways?
I really like the designs, but I'm not sure on the quality.

Half of my mind (my engineering mind) has an idea for a trapped die.
There are switches hidden on each one that are not activated via rolling you would need thumbs and a decent set of eyes and know what you are looking for.
First idea: dice that give a painful, but not fatal eletric shock. This is to tell some a$*~#%$@ who just grabs your dice without asking.
Second idea: Dice that react to DNA. Meaning if your not the one handling them, they release sharp, thin spikes. Thesse are no more dangerous than ordinary needles. However they hurt like a mothertrucker and are to deter theives/people who try to use your dice without asking. It shouldn't be too terribly hard to make up a chemical that reacts to skin oils and sends a charge to a small motor.
Third idea: Dice that react to sugar. This is for people who do not clean there hands when handling dice. These ones release itching powder when shaken. Meaning the person who didn't clean his hands and is now rolling the dice is covering himself in potent itching powder.
These are just ideas. However I doubt your venture captain will be too please when someone has to go to the emergency room to have mini cactus needles removed from there hand. Then again: Don't mess with another persons dice. You are asking for hand impalation

I've never understood the "don't touch my dice" thing. My group borrows dice from someone else's pile or picks them up to examine because they look cool all the time. Just don't get it.

I cannot own wooden dice. I have guinea pigs. Simba already chipped my D12. He can bite the paint off a metal bar. I would HATE to see what happens with a wooden die. Wonder what would happen if I just walked into the PFS meeting and pulled out a guinea pig. Then took that guinea pig and began to rub it against the VCs face. Just wondering
