Gunslinger / Spellslinger question.

Rules Questions

Im curently playing a Musket Master gunslinger and have beem working with the idea of cross classing into a Spellslinger wizard. I found a question I cant seem to find the answer to. Gunslinger gains the gunsmithing feat at first level as does Spellslinger. Since these feats do not stack, does this class ability just not mater or are you able to take another feat, like maybe scribe scroll?

By RAW, no stacking. Could probably persuade the DM to retrain one of them for some other feat (in games I play we usually just assume that if something grants you a feat you already have, you just pick another feat you meet the prereqs for instead).

I would make it a feat with no prereqs to avoid any munchkin business.

As far as the actual rules go, no you can't switch it or retrain it since it's a compulsory part of the spellslinger archetype.

Your GM might allow changes if ask nicely.
There is one minor advantage of having it: it gives you back proficiency in pistols and cannon.
