Low level support Cleric

Point buy is 25, starting level 1. Evil deities are OK, but no evil-aligned PCs are allowed. All Paizo books are OK, third party is banned entirely. I want to be an effective Cleric when need be, but have decent buffing. I need a build that plays well from level 1.

Tark's guide was a good starting point, but it had no sample builds. Also there was no ranking of domain or spell choices for a support Cleric...

Some more might be needed. Like number of players. But as a cleric lover I can tell u that there are two questions u should ask urself and post to make the optimal build for u...

1) buff offense, defense, or little of both?

2) evangelist or u want two domains?

The evangelist will feel weak at first but will pay BIG later on but the two domains gives more freedom. Dealers choice.

After a little thinking...

In a vacuum is give my vote to a human or aasimar cleric of Nethys that takes protection/defense and magic/divine domains. Cast some worthless spell on urself, even a cantrip, and boost the whole party with +2 to attack. At later levels protection and defense makes for a decent buff that will last for multiple encounters.

But the real fun is that u can burn a feat for versatile channeler and then u can heal/buff or attack/debuff in one move at will. Later u can do that as a move action. I'd recommend variable channeling as that would buff or debuff AC in addition to heal or hurt.

Finally, ur saves will be higher than almost any class by the end of the game as ur getting a +5 to all saves by level 20. In this way u get to protect urself also.

Is there a "Fast Study" equivalent for clerics? That'd be very useful.
