Theurge from Kobold Press New Path Compendium is also a very good arcane/divine caster. One interesting and unique ability is the theurge has the ability to learn and prepare arcane spell other than just sorcerer/wizard and divine spells other than just cleric. So he/she could eventually have access to all spells.

Thank you!
I would strongly recommend the Theurge to anyone looking for a balanced Pathfinder base class that combines arcane and divine in new and interesting ways!
You can find the Theurge in the New Paths Compendium from Kobold Press :)

well... it does depend a bit on how open your GM is to a little cheese (and how he feels about some very rules-lawyer-y stuff)- there are a few PrCs (like hellknight signifier or agent of the grave) that increase your spellcasting in any class you have levels in (as opposed to any arcane class or any divine class), so you might be able to apply those increases to MT if you take at least one level in it first...
some argue that a spellcasting class is only one which has its own spellcasting progression (like base classes, or the red mantis assassin). this is probably the more reasonable interpretation but to the best of my knowledge there has never been an official statement on it.
the counter-argument is that any class that grants or increases spellcasting is a spellcasting class, this would include base classes and the like, but also classes like eldritch knight or dragon disciple that build upon those classes. there is some potential in this interpretation for abusing the mystic theurge (which is probably the only class that could be abused by it); but (IMO) i doubt you'd end up with anything too overpowered... MT is only really worth taking if you exploit early entry options and when you combine the cost of early entry plus the other normal costs, plus all the costs of the other PrC you're investing a whole lot of your character development resources into getting those extra spells. of course, if your concept/build would have invested in most of those things anyways maybe it would yield something pretty potent- i guess YMMV.
bottom line- if you want to try it start by talking to your GM about it and see what he thinks.
