I'm running a campaign where the main focus is around kyton-type and kython-type creatures. One of the pcs plans to start harvesting fallen enemies and some not-so-fallen things.
What kind of creations could you guys think up involving grafts and/or taxidermy related things?
The first one we were able to work out was a punching weapon formed mostly out of a kython broodling's skull and poison sacks. The broodling has a poisoned bite so we reasoned that the teeth held the poison. If enough force (the impact of a punch) was applied to the bladder the toxins would exit through the teeth and into the soft squishy parts of the opponent.
Granted it was a one use item but injecting a 4-8 con damage toxin into a pirate's face was quite useful for removing him from the fight and enabling interrogation.

It might be before your time, but the original Swamp Thing comic in the 1970's (long before Alan Moore) had a very distinctive art style.
To this day I can still see a mutated Anton Arcane, and his menagerie of patchwork creatures.

Tried to put that in a link, but it wouldn't work properly. (The HTTPS part?)
Lot of images there, and a lot of them from later eras. The 1970's art was really, really good though.
And trust me Anton Arcane and his dudes had a mad freak on.
This doesn't help you with details, but I promise you if you look at the art, it will get the deviance juices flowing.

With modification and in an appropriately fantasy surgery / body modification scenario, a humanoid forearm could have a third bone inserted between the radius and ulna (or is it tibia and fibula? My medical skills are right up there with Kriger...), and some combination of tendons or whatever could push that bone forward so that it protrudes from a sphincter in the palm, with the thick bulb edge on the other side locking into place in the metacarpal thingies (making the wrist inflexible while this is in place, and the hand mostly unusable, but producing a bone spike good for stabbing, in places where one is expected to be unarmed).
The process involving a sound vaguely like a 'schikt' would be up to your discretion.

Actually, the various gadgets superheroes have used might not be a bad source of inspiration. One critter might have a modified crossbow arm, complete with grappling hook, that he uses to grab people at range, pull in, and then do worse things to (say, expanding rib cage with inward-pointing spikes, similar to an iron maiden; automatically holds a pin as a free action and deals damage as armor spikes and then some). Maybe another likes to etch metal and has a reserve of acid stored in his upper arms so he can shoot it out (much worse than web-shooters!).
