Skull & Shackles

Hello Community,

First time long time. Anyway, I plan on starting Skull and Shackles for my group next month and I was pricing out the cost of a hardcopy of Wormwood Mutiny on the internet. Needless to say I was shocked to discover the cost of the book on various websites was upwards of 50 or 60 dollars. Paizo has it for sale at MSRP so I was wondering why Wormwood Mutiny is so much more expensive than the rest of the books in the AP.

it sounds like amazon ran out of their own stock and now its just sold by the guys looking for a mark, get it from Paizo or your friendly local game store might have it:)

I will absolutely purchase from Paizo. The only reason why I was looking elsewhere in the first place is because I have gift cards from Christmas burning a hole in my pocket.

I hear ya on the gift cards:)

It happens. look up the price for the second curse of the crimson throne book, Seven days to the grave. One on ebay right now for $50, or you could do the buy it now one for almost $400. I actually did the same thing as you, I am going to run S&S after I finish running Rise of the Runelords, and I saw that Amazon was out of the first book. For good measure I bought wormwood mutiny from Paizo, just in case.

I've paid careful attention to the quantity alerts that Paizo sends out of inventory every now and then. When I saw that the first Council of Theives book was getting low, I jumped on it. The chances of re-prints are very low when it comes to AP volumes, so nab them while they're in stock. :D

Nothing to stop you buying the PDF and getting it printed/bound locally. Cost me about £8.00 (black/white).
