I am planning on running WotR for some friends later this year. I have never run anything before. Well, technically, I have. But, it was like 3 sessions or something. Not much.
I have been reading the first 2 books of this AP. And I have some questions.
Radiance is listed as a legendary weapon. It apparently can have many different abilities. Where are these listed at? I haven't seen any in the books.
I saw one poster talk about PCs only recharging so many mythic power uses a day. If this is true I can't find anything that mentions that. All I have seen is that the PCs can use X amount of mythic power a day. Based on tier.
For DR when it is listed as, for example, epic and magic or cold iron and lawful - The correct way to read that is this, right? (epic and magic) or (cold iron and lawful).
I know I have other questions too, but I'm drawing a blank on them right now.

Welcome aboard! While this might not be the best AP to start with (it gets hilariously out of balance in the later books, but meh), I hope you're here to stay.

Legendary Item, a non specific path ability you can take at Tier 1.

Correct, you gain 3 + 2x Tier points of Mythic Power a day. Magnuskn, who is the one doing a lesser recharge, is doing a lesser version of mythic because he foresees a fairly large problem with having that much mythic power at higher tiers. It's a houserule of his, don't worry about it.
For DR when it is listed as, for example, epic and magic or cold iron and lawful - The correct way to read that is this, right? (epic and magic) or (cold iron and lawful).

Correct on the DR, although you'll never see it in that exact configuration. epic overrides a DR/magic, because epic is just a higher total weapon bonus for a magical item.
So you'd more likely see DR/15 epic and cold iron or epic and lawful. Which as you thought is (epic and cold iron) or (epic and lawful).
Ask any other questions you come up with. Glad to help.

To answer your questions... Yes Radiance is a legendary Item that improves as certain events happen. There is usually a side bar in the book somewhere where it will describe.. "If the PC does this, Radiance gains this.." These are salted through out the modules so basically as the PCs get stronger and do good so will the Sword. Just look for the sidebar boxes. The first major addition is on Pg 21, Sword of Valor.
As far as mythic power, some abilities allow you to recharge some but not all. Though if I recall the post you were talking about the poster was implying making things harder for his players by limiting what they could recharge like a house rule. For you as a GM you can do whatever you want and change up anything to make things easier or harder.
I also read the DR as having to do both for example a particular monster has DR Cold Iron and Epic or Good and Epic... I took this to mean that the weapon needs to an epic weapon that is cold iron or good.
Now I am unsure what makes a weapon "Epic" but my house ruling on it means if it is a minor artifact or greater it can be epic. Radiance is an epic weapon, a legendary weapon with enough abilities to make it a minor artifact makes it epic.
Also note a weapon with a +6 or higher enhancement bonus overcomes DR/Epic as well. For example a +3 Flaming(+1), Keen(+2) Rapier can bypass the DR.
Hope this helps.

I'm still a little unsure about Radiance. The only thing I have seen in the AP is that the sword becomes like a +1 or +2. Also mentioned are abilities that the sword has. Where are these listed at? What abilities does Radiance have?
In answering this question please act like I am extremely new to this. I have never had a legendary item in any game I've been a part of. The best weapon in a D&D type game I've been in has probably been like a +1 sword or something.
@Lochar - I was just throwing together random words for DR in order to make an example. Just making sure I was reading it correctly.
And I have seen threads where mythic power can seem overwhelming. So, some of you may be right that this isn't the best AP to GM for the first time. Thankfully, I probably will not starting running this until late this year. Plenty of time to see what people concoct in how to deal with mythic power.
And I plan on asking many many more questions before I start.

Radiance is a special case weapon. By default, it is a masterwork cold iron Longsword.
When a paladin picks it up, it becomes a +1 cold iron longsword, that shifts to their favored weapon.
There are certain actions that you can take in books 2-4 to increase it's power. By book 4, it becomes a Holy Avenger. If you miss an action, it loses out on some of it's power it can gain.
As a Legendary Item, it also has the few abilities that are common to Legendary Items, regardless of what quest pieces you've done with it. The 2/day Surge being the primary one.

You were reading it correctly. I was just tossing in some extra information.

I'm curious, myself, as to what (if any) power it gains if there are no Paladins among the group. Of course, there's always

I haven't read much about Radiance but I've been running on the assumption that legendary items run kind of like legacy items in D&D. Am I very wrong and should I read that part of Mythic Adventures more closely?
Also, would changing Radiance into multiple items so everyone can have something cool a recommended thing? I ask because I did this with Alakast in Shackled City and it was a nice touch to the AP.

Reread that part of Mythic Adventures, yes.
And Radiance has in game revelations as to what its powers are and why. Specifically, it belonged to Yaniel the Paladin and you'll eventually meet her. You'd need to come up with more stuff of Yaniel's or another NPC and work them into the story.

Unless a paladin touches it, it will only be a masterwork cold iron longsword. To get to +1 the weapon will need to be handled by a paladin. Irabeth would do if you asked her to look at it, IMO, but I don't think it would ever increase unless wielded by a paladin but that is up to the DM really.

I have only skimmed the issues past the first but I don't mind doing the extra work of making additional items. I enjoy tinkering with adventures and making them my own. I'll read it all in more detail.
