Small character to Large options

Advice

My understanding is that Enlarge Person will not stack with Alter Self. Are there any options for a small character to become size large?

If third party is allowed, expansion by a 7th level manifester or from an 8th level egoist with overchannel would work. But that's a significant dedication of levels. Beast form II would do it, though you most likely don't want to be a beast...

For what purpose, precisely? Weapon damage? CMB bonuses?

A druid can wildshape to huge...

I want to increase my reach to threaten while still threatening adjacent squares.

Carry a reach weapon and take IUS.

Righteous Might

If the character in question is not a cleric/oracle or inquisitor, have a look at the following armor enhancements:

Righteous
Unrighteous
Unbound
Vigilant

Righteous might will not stack with other size altering magic.

Correct you are.

Looks like you'll be stuck with large as your biggest option, as no such magical effects will stack with other magical effects. But righteous might is still an option that gives all-around better bonuses.

Werewolf.
Small race + medium hybrid form + enlarge person = large werewolf.

Interesting thought: the elemental subtype allows elementals with a humanoid like shape to gain weapon proficiencies. While you don't actually get that subtype from wildshape, it still indicates that they have hands that can use items.

So it would be possible to make a manufactured weapon using build and gain the advantages of larger size. Admittedly, you would have to get a set of equipment made for your large size before hand and set it aside, since normally it would just get absorbed. But at the same time, a human-like elemental has hands and can speak normally (again, presumed from the fact they have a language). So you could go around as an elemental all the time without even needing to take the feats that would normally be essential (natural spell, feral speech, etc).

But unfortunately, this doesn't really help the original problem, since I doubt that S'Daria is using a halfling druid. And this plan takes until level 8 to actually work (Although it does have the advantage of working all day by that point).
