[Interjection Games] Break Sales Records, Get a Sale!

Product Discussion

I really didn't expect the spike in business I've seen in the last two days, so let's make a game of it, shall we? I've never broken $300 in a month before at Paizo, but I'm about 85% of the way there right now. If that 30 day running total breaks $300 by the end of the month, I'll have an exclusive 50% off sale on the non-bundle product of the community's choice for the entirety of February.

Let's have at it, folks :)

Could you possibly link to the section that contains your products? I've always found the paizo sales interface needlessly complicated.

Interjection Games Catalog

The large products are all pretty awesome, but check reviews for the little $1 products before grabbing one of those. I readily admit I can miss the mark if I don't spend a week+ on something.

Just curious: Is there a reason the Herbalist is in the "Other" category - instead of "Classes"?

Yep, I'll poke them again. That was supposed to be done as part of a reorganizing migration. I didn't have a classes section until about two weeks ago, you see :)

Update: We were within $6 last night, but Christmas Eve was apparently quite nice for sales. The running total stands at just under $281/$300.

Well, Endzeitgeist's two 5-star+seal of approval reviews of The Corpseshaper's Toolbox and One Bling To Rule Them All piqued my interest, so count me in for $8.25 later tonight :-)

Jesper, if the product is over $4, it's either not reviewed yet and is probably going right for a seal of approval or already has Endzeitgeist's seal of approval. The big products are safe. They're my brain babies. My childrens. And if there is a problem with one of them that actually damages the product, expect it to be crushed with extreme prejudice. (See ethermancer lesser blasts, super mega ultra mecha copilot rules, herbalist table headers, etc. etc.) :)

And thanks, by the by. Both of those haven't gotten the sales I had hoped for.

Update: One $6 product will push us over. Who wants an ethermancer? :)

Oh would you look at that, an Ethermancer somehow found its way into my downloads... Must be the pesky iPad Fairies, going and buying things when I'm not looking... ;-)

Aye, but it happened after my Christmas Day sales slid off the 30 day running total.

We're back at $294.99/$300. At the very least, we're coming within $6 or $7 of the goal earlier each day.

Right, there's $303. New thread topic! What's going on sale? Just blurt out the name here. Votes will be tabulated on the 31st of January and the sale started up as early as the system will allow in February (likely the second business day of the month). In the case of a tie, the more expensive product goes on sale.

For those who have everything they want from me, I am releasing a product detailing "The Order of the Nullblades", a group of anti-magic fighters, either late this month or in the first week of February. The product will fall between $3 and $4 and contain a prestige class with accompanying organization breakdown, dramatis personae for easy insertion of the organization into a game, special amenities for nullblades and allied bards, and all sorts of anti-wizard and anti-sorcerer stereotyping.

In short, yes, you can vote for this yet-unreleased product.

My vote is for Ethermancer. Though I'll probably grab it anyway whether it wins or not later for sure.

My vote is for either Order of the Nullblades or One Bling to Rule them All!

Sure, I'll tabulate that as a half a vote for each.

I vote "One Bling to Rule them All" but I'll probably be happy with anything :)

A vote for Herbalist or Bling (tho Maestro sounds intriguing).

Alright. Current votes!

One Bling to Rule Them All - 2
Ethermancer - 1
Herbalist - 1/2
Order of the Nullblades - 1/2

Honestly, this is as I expected. Let's take the one expensive product that wasn't in the bundle and make it go on sale! Well played :P

Also, a voting rules update. Narrow your votes down to two products at the most, as I'll go cry in a corner if I have to report that something got 5/6 of a vote.

Split my vote between Herbalist and Gadgeteer :-)

Because I just bought the One Bling, I put my vote on the Gadgeteer :-)

Current votes!

One Bling to Rule Them All - 2
Gadgeteer - 1 1/2
Ethermancer - 1
Herbalist - 1
Order of the Nullblades - 1/2

Cynical little me assumed sales would stop until you all saw what was going on sale next month. That quite simply hasn't been the case. To thank you for proving me wrong, I'll add an expansion to or sequel of the winner to my workflow for February.

...an expansion or sequel? Hrm.

Can I switch my vote to Maestro then? It needs even more hah.

Maestro's going to happen either way, mate.

Silver Crusade

Ethermancer. I don't have that yet.

Awesome.

Vote for the Gadgeteer. I already have everything else...and will be getting the Maestro this week.

Current votes!

Gadgeteer - 2 1/2
One Bling to Rule Them All - 2
Ethermancer - 2
Herbalist - 1
Order of the Nullblades - 1/2

A One Bling vote here!

One Bling to Rule Them All - 3
Gadgeteer - 2 1/2
Ethermancer - 2
Herbalist - 2
Order of the Nullblades - 1/2

Alright, let's break down the expansions that will be made available for each of the products that have a chance of winning.

One Bling to Rule Them All - A companion product that introduces magic items that level up as the character does. When using this supplement, it is expected that the party receives 30% less loot. This one may not be released in February, as it will be considered a flagship product and I've never gotten three out in a month before.

Gadgeteer - The Secret Agent, a rogue archetype that plays like James Bond. Rather than make the gadgets, he gets them mailed to him.

Ethermancer - Honestly, if this one wins, I'm going to have to think fairly hard to come up with something.

Herbalist - Another new biome or a free addition to the base class to fill in the Conservationist's lack of rare flora to protect.

Alright, One Bling to Rule Them All will go half off on Monday or Tuesday. Stay tuned!
