Magical Knack and Arcane Strike

I have a Sorcerer/Paladin. I understand that this does not give me any spells or bloodline powers. From what I can understand it only raises my caster level for casting spells for one class.

My question is that since Arcane Strike is dependent on Caster Level does this trait affect it?

Magical Knack:

Benefit: Pick a class when you gain this trait—your caster level in that class gains a +2 trait bonus as long as this bonus doesn't raise your caster level above your current Hit Dice.

What level are you in each class?

Hmm by rules it should actually.
So if you put that into sorc, it would raise the effective Caster Lv, which would affect the arcane strike

It does affect Arcane Strike (assuming Magical Knack is applied to Sorcerer rather then Paladin)

Arcane Strike is predicated on Caster Level, so Magical Knack should apply.
