I saw this and was curious how one would go about optimizing Waterstrike.
Like the title says, this is not for PFS. I'm just wondering what you guys would do with this.

It's really hard to optimize as there's not going to be a lot that will enhance it, but the archetype is incredibly fun and strong by itself. The biggest issue I have with it is whether you can move the water from watersong, as it seems no where in the description does it state you can. Meaning unless the water is in exactly the right place, you can't make that ladder, or can't smash that enemy, because they're 10 feet away from the water.

Well, create water kinda solves the "can't move water" part.
Not really. Water Song and Water Strike are described using a 5 foot cube of water, and create water is only 2 gallons per level. 5 cubic feet of water is 37.4026 gallons. You would have to have a caster level of 19 to fill that space with water.
Edit: Sorry, Brain fart. A five foot cube isn't five cubic feet, but 125 cubic feet. That is 935.065 gallons. A single create water spell would never do it.

This is one of those do your own things kind of thread. All books. Let's go with a 25 point buy, and a random dm you found two weeks ago that you know barely anything about except he's a cool guy.
Edit:
Here are some issues I see with this character.
1) The water isn't magical, so how do you bypass DR with it?
2) What feats would you take for this? I don't know what feats work with a ranged water attack that doesn't allow for AoOs to be taken advantage of.

What's the selling point of this archetype? A 1d6+cha mod slam does not seem anymore useful than a level 1 spell. Lifewater seems ok in that it doesn't require a save to affect someone with a 1d4 rounds of sickened. Is it the spell list that makes this archetype attractive because I'm just not seeing what's so good here.
