Seems like a stupid question, but can you fight defensively/total defense while raging?
I can't seem to find any rules that say you can't, other than rage says nothing that requires patience or concentration but... Does this line in itself mean no defense or?

While in rage, a barbarian cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration.
That's it.
It does not prevent anything else.
It is a common mistake to see a Barbarian's Rage as some form of temporary mental retardation.
This is absolutely untrue, and the rules do not support it in any way.
So, fighting defensively, sneak attack, or the like, are absolutely doable whilst in Rage.

As are withdrawing, retreating, readying, delaying, drinking a potion ...
