Pathfinder Adventure Card Game 2013's Game of the Year
The Best of 2013 Year-End Lists Are In, and the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game is a Universal Hit
Paizo Inc., creators of the world's best-selling Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, is pleased to announce today that the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game, which debuted in August 2013, topped or charted on many Best of 2013 lists among top-tier gaming media outlets.
"#1 game of 2013." — Dice Tower listeners and co-host Eric Summerer
"In a year dominated by excellent cooperative games, the Pathfinder card game set itself apart…If you've got a gaming group that loves playing story-driven RPGs, but no one to gamemaster your group, the Pathfinder card game is a perfect choice." — Game Informer, Top 10 Tabletop Games of 2013
"Board Game of the Year" — GeekDad's Jonathan Liu
"A wonderful game that offers the thrill of a traditional roleplaying game without the need for a game master." — Deseret News, Top 10 Tabletop Games of 2013
"RPG publisher Paizo certainly made a grand entrance into the board gaming end of the business this year with the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game. Pathfinder pretty much has anything you could want in an RPG-style card game and then some. I think Pathfinder was my most-played game of 2013." — No High Scores
The Pathfinder Adventure Card Game was also included on the Best of 2013 lists by All Us Geeks, Maximum Pixelation, and GeekMom, among others.
The Pathfinder Adventure Card Game (PACG), created by Mike Selinker and Lone Shark Games, translates the world's best-selling Pathfinder Roleplaying Game (RPG) into an entirely new breed of card game, where players adventure, battle monsters and villains, and acquire new feats, items, weapons, and allies — all without a Game Master. The first game, PACG: Rise of the Runelords, made its debut at Gen Con Indy 2013, where it sold out in the first four hours. The follow up, Pathfinder Adventure Card Game: Skull & Shackles, based on the pirate-themed Pathfinder RPG Adventure Path, is currently in playtesting, and is scheduled for release at Gen Con Indy 2014.

Picked this up over the holiday season and my family was quickly addicted. My son asks if we can play every night when we all get home for the day.
Really gives a game a different dynamic when you are playing with eachother instead of against.

Ever since we play tested it at Gen Con and got to hear you guys discuss the game at the panel, we've been hooked here in AZ.
My daughter and I play at least once a a weekend. We run the gamut of emotions. It's just such a great way to bond with your child. All the skills are there too: reading, math, problem solving, etc.
We're already counting the days til the pirate set...because everything is better with pirates.
Hats off to you, Vic, the design gang, player testers, customer service team, and warehouse crew (aka "the elves").
Ben (and lil' Abby)
And we're gonna whoop those Giants in February.
