I've done some researching and haven't been able to find anything on this that has been asked before. Some wall of force questions came up in a recent game and led to a few questions.
1.) What kind of cancelling effect does Wall of Force have? Does it count as a dispelling effect or something else?
2.) Does Wall of Force cancel sonic effects? There's nothing innately in the spell description that says it would.
3.) Would Wall of Force prevent effects from the spell blasphemy?
4.) Would wall of Force prevent effects from a blasphemy SLA? SLA's aren't stopped by the same means that spells are, so then would a wall of force stop a SLA?
Thanks!

Wall of Force blocks line of effect which means it stops anything which relies on it. This includes most spells, SLA's and supernatural abilities. About the only thing that goes through it are teleport spells and gaze attacks.
None of your examples go through the wall. I am not sure what you mean by number 1, Wall of Force doesn't dispel anything, it simply blocks things.
Note that it blocks things in both directions so the players cannot affect things on the other side of the wall either.

Yes, what do you mean by 'cancel'? A Wall of Force as andreww said doesn't dispel anything it acts like a barrier like most 'solid' walls would act.
Blasphemy is a spread centering on you. So Wall of Force can't prevent the spell from being cast. Whether the Blasphemy will effect other creatures depends on where they are and where the Wall of Force is. It may or may not stop the effect of the Blasphemy (a spread effect) from reaching other creatures in much the same way it may or may not effect those creatures by being hit by a Fireball. In either case the effect (including the noise i.e. sonic) must go around the Wall of Force to reach the targets. SLA's are mostly different from spells in that the don't have components and can't be counterspelled or used to counterspell. Unless the Wall of Force is blocking line of effect for Dispel Magic in an attempt to counterspell the Blasphemy, the presence of Wall of Force has no bearing on the difference between Blasphemy being a SLA vs Spell.
