So im currently using a character that is by default, large category. Sadly this means I cant get into alot of places and battlefields. It has already cost me an encounter that was worth 2k exp and i would rather not have it repeat.
Are there any magical items or the likes(other then potions/wands of reduce person) that can help me get smaller for these situations. I dont want to use the potions/wands because potions only last 1min and wands take constant UMD checks that I simply dont have.
Also i know there is a rule for squeezing to medium places as a large category but my DM refuses to use it and says i am simply not allowed entry if the door or entrance was not made for large or larger creatures.

This shouldn't be such a LARGE problem… Sounds like the DM is being difficult, though he/she may well have good reason (in their mind) for being so...
Smash your way through the doorway?
Talk the situation over with your DM? If your build isn't large for optimization sake, then ask why the DM is limiting your interaction with the game world, and holding back your ability to progress in game mechanically. If he/she has a problem with your large size there must be a way to reach a happy middle ground...
If all else fails, smash the DM… [joke]

Just give a wand to a party member with UMD or the spell on his class spellist
Only one of us has UMD and thats our Rouge. We have a gunslinger, a rouge, a paladin, a fighter/barbarian(me), and a cleric.
But honestly having to spam UMD checks all day is kinda tiring. He only has a +8 to UMD since he has low charisma so we have to stand and wait every minute as he constantly roles UMD till he hits a 20+ which is kinda painful to deal with. It becomes more of a bandaid the a solution

Which is why I heartily dislike the Christmas tree effect and the ubiquity of magic to solve problems. A greater magic is required - talking to the DM and finding out what the root cause of the inequity is.
Being Large, AND a fighter/barbarian could have just a little to do with it...
Well the race was already large and i chose the race far before i chose the class. The DM added the race because they knew how much I liked it . I dont even have the character max/mined. Its basically a reach fighter that only sunders. Her and the gunslinger were the law from the previous town so they dont use extremely violent means when dealing with enemies.
Also i ninja edited the post above you because i just remembered our rouge does have UMD :3

Your DM isn't allowing squeeze - why not? This is the root of the problem. You need to talk to him about why he won't allow it. Tell him you aren't having much fun being left out of these encounters and you would love for there to be some compromise.
.. although perhaps we aren't getting the whole story.
P.S.
The correct spelling is 'rogue'. 'Rouge' is a type of make-up. It's not a big deal for most of us but that particular misspelling is a sore point for some people.

No you are getting the full story lol. No reason for me to lie as far as i know. As for the spelling yes i know that also and i know its a bad habit, try to catch myself doing it but often miss anyway xD
