Ways to get ki pool? Or earliest you can obtain one...

Advice

So far, all I could find was Ninja 2...

Any way to get ki at level 1?

The only one I can think of is via a highly highly highly 'I'm suggesting it and I wouldn't even allow it' suspect rules interpretation; you take the Honored Fist of the Society trait, which says you increase your Ki Pool by 1.

It is, I suppose, theoretically possible to read this as giving you a 1 point Ki Pool by itself ... however, I'm pretty sure most GMs would rule that you have to actually have a Ki Pool class feature to claim that point.

Even if you would technically get the kit point, you wouldn't have the class features that let you use the ki pool for anything until you reach the appropriate class level.

So yeah, you don't get any actual ki pool abilities until Ninja 2, Drunken Master (Monk) 3, or Monk 4.

Kinda weird, as the trait you get at 1st level, but wouldn't really kick in until Ninja 2 or Monk 3/4...

I am trying to qualify for Bewildering Koan for a Gnome Witch build, w/o having to dip into Ninja and lose Witch levels...

Of course, Honored Fist requires that you are actually a monk at 1st level, so it'd require dipping either way.
