Advice on ninja character?

Advice

I want to make Naruto from the Naruto series. Level 1 he got to be like Naruto Classic, high levels he must be like Naruto from the Third Ninja World War Saga. All Paizo published material allowed.

Any ideas?

I was thinking that rasengan could be emulated with shocking grasp, kage bunshin no jutsu maybe with mirror image and the kyuubi with maybe the synthesist eidolon. Oiroke no jutsu would probably be alter self, I think. Odama rasengan maybe with a fireball throwed in close distance.

Im open for ideas.

Sovereign Court

Frankly Naruto is closer to a sorcerer than any kind of a ninja really. After all Naruto is charismatic and is mostly famous from the beginning of the show because he has a huge chakra pool (magic pool). He knew few tricks but could use them well and often.

On top of it, he could learn very high level ninjutsus (magic) rather easily and almost instinctively. Monstrous physique and other polymorph kind of spells would cover most of your basics need.

Eventually going into eldritch knight later to boost your hp and combat abilities.

Of course just sticking to Synthesist summoner works well too and is usually the simplest solution, considering the kind of spells Summoner get.

Silver Crusade

you could look into the magus class.

I liked your approach. Any ideas as to how emulate the nine tailed kyuubi form with sorcerer? The jutsus can be done with some spells like shocking grasp for rasengan, but the closest that I remember to a giant fox is the form of dragon III. I considered synthesist because their eidolon is easy to make into a giant fox (tails and size evolutions), although im not sure if this is the best way to emulate him.

That could work for the lower levels, but he lacks the spells/class features to emulate naruto on the third ninja world war on high levels, when he can become the full kyuubi (giant nine tailed fox)

I have thought about this before and Magus is definitely a good way to go. Gets access to almost all those spells previously mentioned, plus gets others that would be appopriate, can channel energy through his weapon (chakra weapons), and just as important can fight quite well.

well not exactly going to find the perfect nine tailed shape since Naruto essentially has a fairly unique look but you could simply use another monster stats of other monsters and fluff it as nine tailed kyuubi. Like early Naruto only uses claws, sure he is stronger/faster but all these stuffs come with spells like haste/expeditious retreat or bull's strength really, that what I would do.

The other option is gm fiat/begging. I wouldn't recommend to go out of your way to homebrew your own monster or you could simply pick reasonable options from form of the dragon, monstrous physique or beast shape as appropriate and make your own form just by talking with your dm if you really want to go that route.

A lot of polymorph /transmutation spells would give you reach , hell even the transmutation school gives you disintegrate (works very well with Naruto dark rasengan during his berserker period).

Sorcerer/eldritch knight would do the job nicely.

Aberrant bloodline could give reach which could represent naruto ability to extend his aura to attack, at least for his berserk period.

For the toad sage at the end, simply cast Transformation and you are good to go.

edit: Magus works fine too and indeed has access to all these spells.

Im liking that sorcerer/eldritch knight approach, my gm dont like house rules so I guess ill reskin the form of the dragon appearance, also I dont quite feel the spellbook mechanic working with Naruto, he seems more like a spontaneous caster to me

Any advice for sorcerer/eldritch knight build like feats to take etc? I think the aberrant bloodline is a nice approach indeed, and im also not sure in what ability scores to take exactly. Should I put Str/Cha primarily and fight unarmed? Maybe find a way to get claws for when he goes berserk too

Oh just thought about a draconic bloodline/dragon disciple. He get claws for a few times per day, maybe I can resking that firebreath as a bijuudama too, what you think?

Str > Cha > Con for priority, cha needs to be decent but not a lot since you will focus on buffing yourself.

As for feats, Improved Initiative, Power Attack, Toughness and Arcane strike are mostly the ones that I would recommend the rest is up to you.

Draconic discipline is good for eldritch knight builds and would fit the naruto build.

Cool, for spells Ill go something like this: shocking grasp for rasengan, fireball for odama rasengan, alter self for oiroke no jutsu, magic missile for kage shuriken, bull strenght and the bloodline claws for going berserk with 1 tail, form of the dragon I for berserk with 4 tails and firebreath for bijudama, form of the dragon II for 7 tails and form of the dragon III for 9 tails, transformation for sage mode, maybe transformation+haste+claws for kyuubi mode 2.0.

For stats something like 20 pb: 18 (+2 human) str, con 12, dex 10, wis 8, int 10, cha 16

for feats I guess ill also take eldritch heritage abyssal for the +6 bonus to str (plus it goes well with the concept, demonic fox and everything)

Edit: oh and mirror image for kage bunshin no jutsu, cant forget his main skill! Maybe some contingencies with silent images to use everything in one go to represent taijuu kage bunshin too

Yeah, the ninjas in the naruto setting are very cool, but they are more like OP monk sorcerers.

If you want advice on a ninja character, then I would suggest you somehow, some way disappear and leave only a log at least once in a campaign.

Check this monk / sorcerer / Dragon Disciple.

You will also need at 14 Con if you intend to go melee.
