Eldritch Heritage?

Advice

Grand Lodge

I've got a character who is a charming swords lady. A Threstal, a race my DM created that has ties to night and darkness. At least the version I'm using, the otherside has more weather based ties.

Its a race that is capable of flying on its bat like wings and seeing in the dark. She is going to be queen in a kingmaker campaign, So I'm looking at an eldritch heritage to possibly make her.

Stormborn - I can enchant my weapon with the raw power of lighting. Later on, I can gain blindsense in any various weather effects. Then I can become a bolt of lighting and strike through my enemies rapidly.

Borel - I can enchant my weapon with the unfogiving element of cold, also see through various sorts of nasty weather that impairs my vision.

Sangurine - This one is a little more RP driven. After slaying a medium foe, I can drink their blood, healing a small amount of hp and having a full meal.

Umbral - I gain the ability to wrap myself in shadows, see through more darkness and become capable of hiding in darkness easily.

I plan on being mobile and flight capable, taking full advantage of the biggest feature of the race. But.. dunno what to do.

Normally you cannot take Wildblooded bloodlines with Eldritch Heritage since you're not a Sorcerer as WildBloodlines are a Sorcerer Archetype, is your DM handwaving that or not? Because that takes Umbral and Sanguine off the list.

Shadow Bloodline is quite nice for a stealthy character.

Wildblooded is a sorcerer archetype.

However Umbral/Sanguine is still a bloodline. Eitherway, my DM is allowing the picking of such things.

Okey dokey then.

My vote is for Umbral =P

Grand Lodge

Huh.. Thats exactly what my DM voted on too.

So why Umbral?

Did they ever FAQ that?

To my knowledge, there isn't anything official supporting Scavion's statement/belief.

I believe that there are valid arguments for either one of those interpretations, though.

It's a statement of belief =)

Didn't the Wildblooded/Crossblooded FAQ say both were archetypes, not bloodlines?

Doesn't really matter. Dm Says I can take them.

But I think I'm going to go with the Boreal Bloodline. weather effects do not screw with my ability to see at level 11th level. And around 17th level, I can just blow everything up.

I don't like "standard action to create 1. level effect for a few rounds" abilities with Eldritch Heritage. I'd go with Stormborn, because the level 3 ability is very useful.

Do you mean the chill sheild on the ninth level?

I as thinking of going down Eldritch Heritage with my Stormborn sorcerer to gain a familiar, and then get then get improved familiar probably a Pseudodragon. But wondering if its worth doing.
