The first feedback I have on the class came up in chargen, so I figured I'd go ahead and post it now. I saw this character as being lawful good rather than NG, but I ran up against the class alignment restrictions. I think this is a problem because:
1) The hunter, in terms of concept, is closer to the ranger than the druid. Nothing about it suggests anything like the druid's nature priest/"student of philosophical balance" concept.
2) However, the hunter retains nearly all of the druid's flavor-related mechanical restrictions.
It seems to me that it would be better if the druidic side was more of a suggestion - keep the druid-flavored weapon and armor proficiencies, just drop the enforced alignment and armor restrictions. I think this would help address the perception of the hunter as just a watered-down druid.
