Was the lack of any form of DR an oversight?

I'd say that's intentional. It has regeneration, 8 attacks, and can stun people simply via telepathy, so another defensive ability might be overkill. Besides, DR is so easily overcome at that level that it's not really a big loss.

It didn't have DR as published in Wake of the Watcher (Carrion Crown part 4), so I'd say it's a safe bet not having DR isn't an oversight.
