phalanx fighter 3, black blade skirnir 17?

What can I do with this? any ideas? I just really like the idea of tower shield and ripsaw glaive (Or something along those lines) to compliment dangerous amounts of armor.

Probably late, but the black blade can only be a one handed slashing weapon, rapier or sword cane.

Phalanx/skirnir works, though.

You cannot stack bladebound and skirnir anyway, as they both modify arcane pool.

Phalanx Fighting (Ex): At 3rd level, when a phalanx soldier wields a shield, he can use any polearm or spear of his size as a one-handed weapon. This ability replaces armor training 1.

The Glaive is slashing...why wouldn't it count as a one handed weapon when he is carrying a shield?

People on here usually split hairs between the weapon "counting as" or being "used as" and actually being one handed. Your GM may vary.
