Can you deactivate the vicious weapon enchantment? I've been thinking of getting it in one of two instances:
- adding the property to my Cavalier's greatsword
AND/OR
- buying my Hungry Ghost Monk an Amulet of Mighty Fists with the property
The Cavalier is adequately resilient (and has the Fey Foundling feat for good measure), and the Monk will be able to heal herself the Hungry Ghost way, but in case I deem a situation too risky, it would be good if I could suppress the vicious property on cue.

Hmm, let's try this: How much effort does it take to take off an amulet? Does it provoke an attack of opportunity? Is there perhaps some item or type of action (that doesn't cost a feat slot) that allows one to do so gracefully and conveniently?
Also, since blahpers suggested a source of fast healing, can anyone recommend one (I don't think damage reduction applies to vicious damage - it's "disruptive energy").

Moving or manipulating an item is usually a move action.
This includes retrieving or putting away a stored item, picking up an item, moving a heavy object, and opening a door. Examples of this kind of action, along with whether they incur an attack of opportunity, are given in Table: Actions in Combat.
Many magic items need to be donned by a character who wants to employ them or benefit from their abilities.
I quote the part from magic items to show that it is considered an action to equip an item.
Everything in the descriptions I've read point to it being the same kind of action to don/remove.In the chart under the combat actions, just about everything describing manipulating an item provokes and AoO.
However, this is assuming that you are carefully undoing the clasp around your neck. (I believe stowing it would require a 2nd move action)
If you were to rip it off your neck and drop it, I'm not quite sure what action that would be. (RAW it probably still counts as a move :/ )
But you'd also need to repair it every time you do this.
I don't think I've seen an item that decreases action cost for anything other than itself (things like quickdraw shields). But maybe someone knows more about this?
Fast Healing, get a wand of this
Infernal healing
Ring of Regen if you're lucky,
or a dip into Inquisitor for judgement 1/d (but you have to prolong combat)
Healing: The inquisitor is surrounded by a healing light, gaining fast healing 1. This causes the inquisitor to heal 1 point of damage each round as long as the inquisitor is alive and the judgment lasts. The amount of healing increases by 1 point for every three inquisitor levels she possesses.
Most other ways into fast healing require much deeper investment
