What does the word 'CMB' mean in your post? I mean, the usual meaning, Combat Maneuver Bonus, makes no sense in your sentence.

However, in most cases there isn't any reason to take a prestige class just because you want to be more powerful. You could take one if you want to be better at one particular thing, or if you join an organization in the game that has a prestige class associated with it, such as the Hellknights or the Eagle Knights or something.

If you're coming from a D&D 3.5 background, you might recall how in 3.5 one generally went into a prestige class as soon as you could qualify for it because they were generally more powerful than base classes. This is no longer the case. Most base classes are equally or more powerful than most prestige classes. Prestige classes are best for characters who have a specific roleplaying reason to go into one, such as someone who wants to go into Dragon Disciple because the player wants to play an effectively half-dragon character. Or someone who wants to join the Hellknights and joins the organization in-character, and takes levels in the prestige class after doing so.

If you want more specific advice, you could post your build in detail, and post your goals for your character, what you want to be able to do with it that you can't do now.

Spoiler alert: If your answer to that is 'hit harder', we're going to tell you to just take more levels in fighter.

When i say CMB fighter i mean i specialize in Combat maneuvers. The goal of this character is to NOT hit harder but be a damage minigater along with the ability to weaken the opponents Combat abilities by grappling, tripping, disarming, etc.

The two-weapon warrior is an archetype (this is what you mean right?) that shines at higher lvls, so I would suggest to stick with it.

For battlefield control, the best things you can do is combat expertise -> improved trip at lower lvls, dazing assault at mid lvls and critical focus -> staggering critical (-> stunning critical) at higher lvls.

For maneuvers, you need three main things: high strength (or high Dex with the Agile Maneuvers feat), high BAB, and lots of feats. Fighter is the way to go for that. If you want to grapple specifically, Tetori monk could be a way to go, but that's for a grappling specialist. No prestige classes that I'm aware of are any better for maneuvers than a straight fighter.

Barb is better because of strength surge. It's basically an auto-success on any maneuver they attempt once/rage, and from mid levels on they can just rage cycle.

But yeah, prestige classes are not really any good for maneuvers.
