Drider help

Rules Questions

I have a very important question about the drider race. Would the strength be +4 bcuz I'm large and I have advanced strength in that race?

Yes. +2 Strength for being large, and +2 for the Advanced Strength trait.

Actually nvm that question I already got the answer. Here is my other question: if my character is a large quadruped, does the cost and damage stay the same as a medium weapon/armor/shield?

Anyone??

Armor for a Large character costs more. Check the Equipment section of the CRB.

Look at this section of the quadruped trait:

Benefit: Members of this race possess four legs and two arms, granting them a +4 racial bonus to CMD against trip attempts and a +10 foot bonus to their base speed. In addition, members of this race use weapons and armor as if they were Medium (instead of Large)
my question is that since large quadrupeds use medium weapons, would the damage/cost for weapons and armor be the same as buying an armor or weapon for a medium character?

Weapons should be ok (there is no quadruped price for weapons), but you would need to pay the quadruped price (unusual) for medium armor.

Driders use both weapons and armor as if they were still medium creatures. Think of them essentially as elves on permanent mounts, like centaurs.

It specifies they use medium size armor and weapons. For weapons, there is no difference in cost. But I would say Driders (and centaurs) are "nonhumanoid" thus doubling the price for armor.

Armor for Unusual Creatures

Armor for Unusual Creatures

Both only typically wear armor on their upper humanoid halves when they wear armor at all, which is essentially standard medium armor minus the wasit and leg parts.

Oh then, how about "expect table variance" because I still believe they need to have unusual creatures custom cost.

Not sure how full plate works without the full body covering.

Thanks now I get it

Wait. If they use medium sized armor and weapons, would their shields be medium sized? Since nothing has been mentioned about shields so far
