Spells ignore DR if the spell produces energy that deals the damage. If a spell effect simply amplifies or deals physical damage, that portion of the damage is affected by DR still.
So for example, Fireball would bypass DR because it is fire\energy damage. Ice Storm does 3d6 bludgeoning and 2d6 cold damage; the DR would affect the damage from the 3d6 but would be bypassed wholly by the 2d6.
Divine Favor is not dealing energy damage; it's enhancing the weapon's damage, so I would say it does not bypass DR.

Ok, that's what I thought. Although if the weapon has say the Flaming property which does fire wouldn't that bypass the DR?
Also this is what the PRD says for DR: Spells, spell-like abilities, and energy attacks (even nonmagical fire) ignore damage reduction.
I agree that with the statements above as to what can and can not penetrate DR, but I think that the DR statement is kinda...bad. lol
