Improved Tumor Familiar (contains PFS spoilers)

Rules Questions

This question deals with PFS, contains spoilers, and may not be in the correct forum. By all means, move it to a more appropriate board if that is the case.

Was there ever a proper ruling regarding the thread title? The Craft feats were covered through an errata, but was this ever addressed?

Specifically:
if I fully complete PFS scenario #4-05 (The Sanos Abduction), can I use the rewards fully with an alchemist? Would it be possible for alchemist with a tumor familiar to be modified by Improved Familiar? Hinging on that answer, is it possible for that same alchemist to gain Riddywipple as a familiar?

See #5, and then see the original question numbered #5.

So yes, they'd count in that aspect...

But there's one problem. The alchemist isn't an arcane spellcaster. They're a 'spell' 'caster', but they aren't arcane in the sense of the rules.

Alright: so, Improved Familiar has a requisite of "sufficiently high level" and a more restrictive entry for actually taking on other familiars. Sounds good.

I suppose that takes a bit of the weird out of my initial block of questions.

EDIT: Spoiled Example.

Particular Case:
Having just looked, using Cheapy's terminology, the alchemist should qualify.
Sanos Abduction Boon wrote:
Faerie Dragon Improved Familiar: A caster of at least 7th level with an alignment within one step of chaotic good may bond with the faerie dragon Riddywipple using the Improved Familiar feat.

I've abbreviated it, but I think this is the important part, which doesn't look for an arcane caster level.

Later EDIT: No, I don't think example contradicts. Nevermind. Thank you, Cheapy.

If it counts as the familiar class feature, and you use your alchemist level as your wizard level, I'd have no problem letting and Alchemist take Improved Familiar.
